On June 21, at 13:38, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message that the forest litter was burning near the village of Krasnokamenka (in the Feodosia region). There was a threat of the spread of fire to the forest.
Firefighters, using Yermak firefighting backpacks and trench tools, began to extinguish the fire. The extinguishing was complicated by the difficult terrain. Within 5 hours, the fire was localized and eliminated. Its area was 0.6 hectares— reported in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of firefighters, it was possible to avoid further «transition» of fire to the trees. There were no casualties. The reasons are being investigated by experts. In total, 23 people and 8 pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the fire.
