The head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev, announced the launch of fountains in Simferopol.
On the anniversary of the signing by Empress Catherine II of the manifesto “On the acceptance of the Crimean peninsula, the island of Taman and the entire Kuban side under the Russian state,” fountains began operating in the squares and parks of Simferopolsaid Mikhail Afanasyev.
We remind you where the fountains are located (and are already working) in the Crimean capital:
- square near the Palace of Culture of Trade Unions,
- Kuibyshev Square,
- light and music fountain on Kirov Avenue,
- «Chess fountain» on the Salgir embankment,
- Catherine’s Garden,
- Treneva Park,
- Lenin Square.
I am sure that the launch of fountains on this day will become a good tradition in our city.,” Afanasyev emphasized.
