Four finalists of the «Ecosophia» project from the Republic of Crimea became members of the Russian Eco-Team

Crimea in the grand final will be represented by residents of Yalta.

Four finalists of the Ecosophy project from the Republic of Crimea became members of the Russian Eco-Team. They will take part in the grand final of the Ecosophy project of the presidential platform “Russia is a Land of Opportunities”, which will be held in Nizhny Novgorod from July 26 to 30.

Residents of Yalta will perform in the Eco-education nomination. Elena Vedernikova realizes herself as a teacher-methodologist who develops educational and methodological complexes for environmental events. Ksenia Vedernikova is actively promoting her own team of ecologists, she dreams of gaining experience in creating and maintaining content, as well as in correctly positioning herself as a leader. Yulia Dyshlyuk organizes and accompanies the activities of volunteer actions in specially protected natural areas of the Republic of Crimea. Nikita Salnikov holds interactive subbotniks in a game format with engaging activities, prizes and picnics as part of the Clean Games project, helps people develop environmentally friendly, strategic and critical thinking through educational lectures, quests and quiz games as part of the School of Ecological Education project, and also implements the Ecologization Route project, aimed at creating conditions for instilling environmental habits and getting acquainted with urban infrastructure for an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Ecoists will compete for the title of EcoLeader, take part in an extensive business program and organize a big environmental event for residents and guests of the city. The Ecosophy competition is being implemented as part of the Social Elevators for Everyone federal project of the Education national project.

For a whole year, ecologists from different regions of Russia and other countries fought for the right to represent their region in the finals of the Ecosophy competition, a project of the Russia – Land of Opportunities platform. The participants raised their environmental awareness and trained eco-skills in the online track “I live like this”, passed the evaluation activities of the on-site track “Ecosbornaya” with dignity, and participated in several environmental and industrial expeditions.

The winners of the grand final will become holders of the title of «EcoLeaders» of Russia and will represent their regions on the eco-agenda throughout the country, as well as in the international arena. Leaders of the direction of sustainable development will give the winners expert advice on professional growth and help them realize themselves as specialists.
