Free excursions and quest: in Feodosia they will celebrate the 145th anniversary of the Aivazovsky Gallery

The Feodosia art gallery named after Aivazovsky will celebrate the 145th anniversary of the opening on July 29. She became the first public museum in the south of the country and the first museum dedicated to the work of one artist. The gallery contains the world’s largest collection of works by I.K. Aivazovsky, as well as the work of other Marinist artists.

From 2021 to 2024, the gallery was at restoration. Work in the main building was carried out under the federal target program of socio-economic development of Crimea and Sevastopol, their cost exceeded 870 million rubles.
