Free IVF procedure for patients — in 2025 139 kids were born in Crimea

Medical assistance using auxiliary reproductive technologies for the treatment of infertility is provided at the expense of the compulsory medical insurance program.

Over the first half of 2025, 535 women took place in the IVF procedure under the compulsory medical insurance program in Crimea. In the framework of the National Project «Family» in 2025 it is planned to carry out at least 795 IVF procedures, — said the head of the Crimean Ministry of Health.

Inspection and execution of documents for issuing a referral to the IVF procedure is carried out in a antenatal clinic at the place of residence.

At the same time, I would like to remind you that since last year, for women and men aged 18-49, when undergoing a preventive inspection or medical examination, in addition to the standard program, research aimed at evaluating their reproductive health. This allows you to timely identify diseases or conditions that can negatively affect the possibility of conception of a child, on subsequent pregnancy and its course.
