Free parking in Sevastopol. What you need to know

In Sevastopol, in the area of the action of paid parking lots, five categories of motorists can leave their vehicles for free. These include:
-drivers of special equipment-fire protection, police, ambulance, emergency rescue services, military inspection, military police, the National Guard, investigative bodies, as well as special communications;
— drivers of vehicles of the city utility services;
— the driver of the vehicle, which is registered for one of the members of a large family, if there is a parking permit (a large family must have an official status and issue permission for only one vehicle);
— vehicles registered for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and former minor prisoners of concentration camps, ghetto and other places of forced maintenance created by the Nazis and their allies during the Second World War (with a parking permit);
-vehicles driven by people with disabilities and vehicles transporting such disabled people and (or) children with disabilities, on which the identification mark is installed and exclusively in the selected places indicated by the road signs «disabled». Information about these vehicles should be posted in the state information system in the manner prescribed by Art. 15 of the Federal Law of November 24, 1995 No. 181-ФЗ “On the Social Protection of Disabled in the Russian Federation”.
A citizen with a disability, his legal or authorized representative needs to submit an application to use the vehicle to the Pension Fund of Russia through the portal of public services or personal cabinet of the federal register of disabled people in electronic form. Moreover, if a citizen is not registered with public services, he can contact the MFC.
Drivers who live in the area of action of paid parking lots can arrange a resident parking permit. It costs 1,800 rubles and is issued for a year. To do this, you must be registered or own the right of ownership in the boundaries of the area of paid parking lots.
There are three ways to get parking permission:
1. Through Public services;
2. Contact the MFC;
3. Contact the Department of Transport at the address: Heroev Avenue Stalingrad, 64 (2nd floor).
It is necessary to have the original and a copy of the documents: passports, certificates of registration of the vehicle, as well as documents confirming the right to benefit.
The rest of the motorists, who often use paid parking, can arrange a parking subscription. There are three types of them:
for a month — 3,000.00 rubles;
for 6 months — 15,000.00 rubles;
for a year — 25,000.00 rubles.

At the central ring, the cost of parking is 35 rubles per hour from 8:00 to 20:00, and at night and on weekends parking is free. As well as on non -working holidays: January 1, 2, 7; February 23; March 8, 18; May 1, 9; June 12, 14; November 4.
In Balaklava, parking costs 50 rubles per hour: from May 1 to September 30 — from 8:00 to 22:00, and from October 1 to April 30 — from 8:00 to 20:00. At night, parking in Balaklava is free.
