Free retraining for North Military District veterans is being conducted in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
More than six thousand SVO participants and members of their families have turned to the Crimean branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation for help since its opening on June 1. They asked almost 15 thousand questions, 12 thousand of them have already been resolved. This was stated by the head of the regional branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, Vladimir Tregub, during a live broadcast organized by the Regional Management Center of the Republic of Crimea.
He noted that most of the questions relate to the appointment of benefits for utility bills, the appointment of social support measures, the issuance of a combat veteran’s certificate, and the receipt of a land plot. Special attention in the work is paid to the improvement of the families of the SVO participants and the rehabilitation of fighters.
About 40 families have already improved their health at discounted prices. In addition, we have entered into an agreement with non-profit organizations and charitable foundations, at the expense of their funds our children undergo rehabilitation and treatment,” emphasized Vladimir Tregub.
The fund also helps military personnel adapt after returning from the Northern Military District zone, organizes retraining and assists in finding employment.
Just yesterday we launched a training program together with the Entrepreneurship Support Fund. Our defenders will be taught how to run a business and open their own business. At the Crimean Republican Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education, free courses are held to train teachers of initial military training. The Tavrida art cluster conducts courses for creative participants in the special operation. Professionals work with those guys who write poems, songs, pictures, and see themselves in films– said Vladimir Tregub.
In order to avoid systematic requests on similar topics, systematic decisions are made. In particular, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation initiated the development of a unified form of certificate of participation in the SVO. Previously, commanders of military units issued documents without a template or sample. In the near future, a unified form of certificate will be approved by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
