Freestyle wrestlers from Crimea won eight medals at the SFD freestyle wrestling championship

The Crimean national team won eight medals at the freestyle wrestling championship of the Southern Federal District. Competitions from March 31 to April 2 were held in the Leninavan farm of the Rostov region.
As reported to the portal «Crimean sport» one of the coaches of the Crimean national team Edem Muratovour guys have one gold, three silver and four bronze awards.
Candidate for Master of Sports became the champion of the Southern Federal District in the weight category up to 86 kg Renat Apshev from Simferopol (coaches — Zakire Zheldashev and Edem Muratov).
Silver medals were won by residents of Simferopol, candidates for master of sports Kantemir Kafoev (up to 70 kg), Hadji Murat Kushkhov (up to 79 kg), both train under the guidance of Ignat Grek and Edem Muratov, and Marat Zanikoev (up to 97 kg; coaches — Azret Zanikoev, Arsen Zakuev and Edem Muratov), bronze — candidate for master of sports Vladimir Rodzin from Evpatoria (up to 57 kg; coach — Ilimdar Seytumerov), Simferopol Khalil Akimov (up to 61 kg; coach — Ruslan Umerov), candidate master of sports Jamal Marguschev (up to 70 kg) and master of sports Alim Beslaneev (up to 92 kg), both train under the guidance of Arsen Zakuev, Ignat Grek and Edem Muratov.
In total, more than 120 athletes from the Crimea, Adygea, Kalmykia, Krasnodar Territory, Rostov, Volgograd and Astrakhan regions took part in the championship. Ten sets of awards were played.
The wrestlers who took first or second places received tickets to the Russian Championship, which will be held June 13-19 in Kaspiysk (Dagestan).
From Crimea, in addition to Renat Apshev, Kantemir Kafoev, Hadzhi-Murat Kushkhov and Marat Zanikoev, Rustam Zhilyasov (up to 57 kg), the brothers Anzor and Azamat Zakuev (respectively up to 70 kg and up to 92 kg), Malik Shavaev also have access to the Russian Championship (up to 79 kg), Guram Chertkoev (up to 92 kg), Batradz Gazzaev (up to 97 kg) and Soslan Khinchagov (up to 125 kg).
