Frequent change of employers makes the Crimean recruiters doubt the applicant

CrimeaPRESS reports:

Applicants who tend not to stay long in one place of work are called «flyers». HR managers are alarmed by specialists who change companies more than once a year. Economically active citizens and representatives of companies from Crimea took part in the SuperJob survey.

38% of recruiters believe that changing jobs more than once every six months can negatively affect employment, and such applicants can be safely included in the list of «flyers». Another 35% are suspicious of annual transfers from one employer to another. 15% «flyers» consider those who change jobs more than once every three years. Only 4% of those surveyed are opposed to blaming job seekers with short periods of work as frivolous. In addition to frequent job changes, HR managers can also be alerted by a long break in their work experience. For 34% of recruiters, an unemployed period of a year or more may become the basis for doubts about the competence of the applicant. 14% of company representatives are alarmed by a 6-month break. 1 out of 3 recruiters believe that a break in work should not raise doubts about the competence of the applicant— noted in the press service of the service.

What frequency of job changes do job seekers consider acceptable? 17% of Crimeans believe that work should be changed as rarely as possible. 15% of respondents say that they can change jobs at least once every 5 years, 4% — at least once every 3 years. The majority is sure that it is necessary to change jobs due to circumstances (53%).

Among the representatives of 25 common professional groups, the most likely to say that the job should be changed according to circumstances are call center operators (67%), HR managers (63%) and secretaries (51%). Administrators (34%), designers and account managers (20% each) are more likely to think that employers should change as little as possible.
