From April 1, a summer fire season has been established in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev, a summer fire season has been established in Crimea since April 1. The corresponding resolution was approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea on March 4, 2024.
The fire season is established annually, based on the combination of high temperatures and low precipitation, which can lead to a sharp increase in the likelihood of wildfires, the minister noted.
Let us remind you that Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea dated March 4, 2024 No. 124-r a list of populated areas of the Republic of Crimea exposed to the threat of forest and landscape fires, territories of children’s recreation and recreation organizations, and horticulture or truck farming areas of the Republic of Crimea exposed to the threat of forest fires in 2024 has been approved. There are 451 such settlements and territories in Crimea, of which 183 are directly exposed to the threat of forest fires.
During the fire season it is strictly prohibited:
— Make fires, use barbecues, other devices with open fire, smoke, throw burning matches and cigarette butts in places not intended for this purpose.
— You must not leave material oiled or soaked in gasoline, kerosene or other flammable substances in the forest.
— It is prohibited to burn grass under trees, in clearings, and stubble in fields.
In case of emergency, you must call: “112”. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!
