From April 1, the rules for obtaining a driver's license will change in Russia.
CrimeaPRESS reports:
If there is no insurance number for an individual personal account, State Traffic Inspectorate employees will independently request the necessary data.
In some cases, SNILS will not be required. In particular, we are talking about cases where the applicants are employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices, as well as members of their families.
In addition, from April 1, other rules for foreigners come into force.
Thus, they will have to provide a notarized translation into Russian of a number of documents. These include a passport or other identification document, as well as the written consent of one of the minor’s legal representatives to take the exam and issue a Russian driver’s license.
