From January 1, about 19 thousand hectares of unused Crimean agricultural land are recognized as municipal property
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The Head of the Republic of Crimea commented on the issue of putting unused agricultural land into circulation in his Telegram channel. According to Sergei Aksenov, in total there are more than 170 thousand hectares of unused agricultural land in the republic, about 19 thousand hectares of which are unclaimed land shares.
After January 1, 2025, these lands will be automatically recognized as municipal property. The corresponding lists have been approved. In the future, municipalities will provide them to agricultural producers— said the Head of the Republic.
Sergey Aksyonov noted the need to put abandoned land into circulation as a serious resource for increasing production volumes in agriculture and for the development of the industry.
In total, there are about 60 thousand hectares of agricultural land in the republic that are recommended for use. It is also possible to introduce more than 64 thousand hectares of arable land after carrying out cultural and technical measures– notes the Head of Crimea.
Work on coordinating and monitoring the registration of municipal property rights to unclaimed land shares is carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea.
