Including checking the operation of public transport.
The head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, held a meeting on problematic issues of municipalities in Crimea. He recalled that from October 1 he will begin to personally travel to municipalities to evaluate the work of heads of administrations and officials.
There are changes in the populated areas of the republic, although a number of problems remain unresolved. The tasks facing municipalities are simple: order must be restored in populated areas and street lighting must be organized,” noted the Head of the Republic.
Aksenov emphasized that the heads of municipal administrations need to ensure the cash execution of local budgets in accordance with plans.
The Head of the Republic of Crimea also instructed the administration leadership to strengthen control over the activities of management companies.
First of all, this concerns cleaning and sanitary cleaning of territories. Management companies must comply with a certain quality standard in their work. Particular attention should be paid to these issues in Yevpatoria, given that there are not enough janitors in the municipality. The Ministry of Housing and Communal Services will provide the necessary assistancesaid the Head of Crimea.
During the meeting, the work of public transport was also discussed. Sergei Aksyonov said that the maximum number of transport units should be used to service the routes.
It is necessary to remove the issue of public transport. The Republic has a sufficient number of rolling stock that can be put on line if necessary,” Aksyonov clarified.
An important clarification was made by the Minister of Transport of the Republic of Crimea Nikolai Lukashenko. According to him, the number of citizens enjoying preferential travel on public transport and carrying documents confirming this right has increased significantly in Crimea.
