CrimeaPRESS reports:

There will be no “additional mobilization.”

The autumn conscription will take place from October 1 in all regions of the country, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced this today. An exception to the draft will be certain regions of the Far North and certain localities equivalent to them — for citizens living in these territories, the draft will take place from November 1 to December 31.

The start of sending conscripts from collection points is scheduled for October 16, 2023. The term of military service upon conscription will be 12 months. All conscripts will be sent to temporary deployment points on the territory of the Russian Federation. No one will be sent to new regions (DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions).

More facts about the fall conscription 2023:

Conscripts who have served will be promptly dismissed and sent to their places of residence.

During the autumn campaign, a third of conscripts will be sent to training units to acquire military specialties.

The formation of scientific companies designed to solve scientific and applied problems in the interests of specific types and branches of the military will continue.

The conscripts will staff research and production units that introduce advanced ideas and breakthrough technologies into production in the interests of national defense, and sports companies that create conditions for training the most promising athletes.

The direct telephone line of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces for conscription for military service will begin operating on October 17.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also clarified: The General Staff has no plans for additional mobilization activities. Today, there are enough contract soldiers and volunteers to carry out the tasks of the special operation. Moreover, the military department expanded the network of selection points for contract service and increased the number of instructors to work with candidates due to the growing number of applicants.
