From the garrison to the front line: Sevastopol residents conclude a contract for military service

Military service under a contract in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is a guarantee of comprehensive state support for military personnel and their families. Dozens of men come to the selection point in Sevastopol every day. One of the candidates for military service under the contract is Vadim Borodin. He made the decision to stand up for the Motherland immediately. For him, this is a matter of honor: his father served in the Soviet army, and during the Great Patriotic War, his grandfather defended his homeland from Nazism. Prior to joining the selection point, Vadim worked as a driver in the garrison.

I could not stay away when such a situation in the country. I cannot allow the shelling that is taking place in some areas of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and other regions to touch our city. I have children living here, who will protect them, if not me? — quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Vadim.

The candidate for military service under the contract adds that he passed all the tests at the selection point successfully, and passed the test with the highest score.

The instructors of the selection point explain very clearly: what documents to bring, where to apply for the provision of benefits and guarantees. Everything is very fast and clear, soon I will join my people in order to bring Victory closer together.the man notes.

Now the procedure for concluding a contract is simplified as much as possible and does not take much time.

The decision to enter the contract service is a manifestation of true patriotism and heroism. There are only three conditions for entering the service: age — from 18 years old, fitness for health reasons and physical fitness. Many candidates want to become career military and choose service as their life’s work, and our task is to do everything so that they can conclude a contract quickly and be confident in the future, — said the instructor of the selection point Sergey.

In the training center, contracted servicemen receive monetary allowances in the amount of 30 to 45 thousand rubles, when concluding a contract for a period of one year — a lump sum of 195 thousand rubles. In the zone of a special military operation, depending on the military rank, position and length of service, the monetary allowance for contract soldiers is from 170 to 200 thousand rubles; for the destruction or seizure of weapons and military equipment of the enemy — from 50 thousand to 1 million rubles; for each km of advancement in the composition of assault detachments — 50 thousand rubles. There are also daily payments for participation in active offensive operations — 8 thousand rubles.

Recall that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in the special operation: official housing or compensation for rental housing, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of subjects of the Russian Federation, and others.

To enter military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage and birth certificate.
