«Geographical Oscar»: the Award of the Russian Geographical Society continues to receive work

The prizes are noted successfully embodied projects: scientific research, expeditions, innovative ideas in the field of education and education, popular science films, television and publishing projects dedicated to geography, the protection of nature, ethnography, history and culture of Russia. An individual or organization from any country in the world can apply for a premium — provided that the project is dedicated to Russia.

In 2025, the RGO Award takes place for the fifth time. The main prize is 1,000,000 rubles.

The winners of the award in the nominations “Best Children’s Project” and “The Best Foreign Project about Russia” are awarded a certificate for participation in the RGO round.
