Give a blessing — it's in your power: only 20 thousand rubles will help a pensioner to see his family
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Nikolai Petrovich spent a month and a half in the basement-bomb shelter and suffered 2 strokes in the last 2 years. Now a pensioner from the city of Severodonetsk, LPR, urgently needs an operation to remove a cataract in his left eye.
The first apoplexy in Nikolai Petrovich happened in 2021. After a stroke, the still fragile health of a man received a second blow — his hometown of Severodonetsk was bombed. The whole family left their native nest and only Nikolai Petrovich remained in the city during the hostilities in order to save at home. The man spent almost a month and a half in the basement. The lack of light and fresh air, limited space and poor health, constant stress and the absence of loved ones nearby affected the man’s vision. Nikolai Petrovich began to develop a complicated cataract. One thing comforted the head of the family, that loved ones were safe. And warmed by the thought that he would still see his wife, children and grandchildren— say in the Charitable Foundation «Bless».
As soon as the opportunity arose, the wife came home to support her husband and began to save up for an operation on the right eye for Nikolai Petrovich. Borrowed and reborrowed from relatives and friends, because many in Severodonetsk found themselves without work. The right eye was saved, but the cataract began to develop rapidly in the left eye. Pensioners will have to save up for this operation for a whole year. Nikolai Petrovich does not have this time. The children of the Kosenko couple are not able to help their father — they are refugees, they live in the cities of Russia in all sorts of places, they survive and they themselves need to be provided for.
Now Nikolai Petrovich urgently needs surgical treatment of his left eye. The cost of the operation is 55,000 rubles, thanks to you, 34,760.67 rubles have already been collected. Together we can help Nikolai Petrovich see his children, grandchildren and his hometown.
