Good is punishable, but black ingratitude should not go unpunished. History from Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The desire to help resulted in the loss of 30 thousand rubles for a resident of Sevastopol and a statement to the police.
It was established that a 45-year-old local resident sheltered a 35-year-old acquaintance who found himself in a difficult life situation and gave him his mobile phone to use. After some time, the man discovered that the smartphone that his friend had given him had an Internet banking application installed, to which his friend’s salary card was linked. Then he had a criminal intent and the man, using the bank’s application, transferred a little more than 30 thousand rubles to his card, after which he left the apartment— reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
A few days later, a local resident, while shopping in one of the stores, discovered that his bank card had run out of money. He checked his account and realized that he had been robbed. The man immediately contacted the police.
As a result of operational search activities, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district detained the attacker. He had already been prosecuted before. A criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft”), he faces up to 6 years in prison.
