Due to the national project «Demography» within the framework of the federal project «Sport is the norm of life», it was possible to complete the reconstruction of an unfinished building with stands, the construction of a football field, as well as to make a comprehensive improvement, landscaping and fencing of the territory along the perimeter of the land plot. The stadium with open stands for 500 places is intended for training sessions and competitions at the regional and local levels in various sports. All sports facilities that are being built work for the purposes of national projects and Presidential Decrees. The number of people involved in one shift at all sites and halls of the stadium is 125 people. The building has rooms for athletes and coaches, locker rooms with bathrooms and showers, rooms with saunas, a medical office, bathrooms for spectators, administrative and technical offices. The operational management of the stadium «Gornyak» will be carried out by the State Budgetary Institution of Sevastopol «Sports School No. 3 in Football». From October 1, the facility will organize the work of four departments, including the cycling department of sports school No. 7, the tennis department of sports school No. 7, the athletics department of sports school No. 6 and the football department of sports school No. 3. In total, at the Gornyak stadium athletes will be engaged and 8 coaches will work.
On October 8, the Sevastopol championship in children’s football for all ages will open at the Gornyak stadium.
