In Simferopol, as part of the autumn planting, the improvement of flower beds continues. This was reported by Deputy Director of the Gorzelenkhoz Municipal Budgetary Institution Maria Boronenkova. According to her information, today improvement work is being carried out at the corner of Pobeda Avenue and Kecskemetskaya Street. There, landscapers planted over a hundred rose bushes. White, red, pink and yellow buds will decorate the flowerbed and delight residents and guests of the Crimean capital with their beauty and aroma.
Roses are our historical green spaces that have always decorated our city. We have plans to increase the volume of roses planted in the city several times, which, I think, will please many residents of the capital, and we will try to restore the glory of the city as the city of roses. And in the future, I think this process will not stop. We will continue to improve the city’s territories. This includes Pobeda Avenue, our dividing strips, and green areas along Kyiv Street, where bush chrysanthemums will soon appear, Sevastopolskaya Street, among others– said Maria Boronenkova.
To date, about 700 garden rose bushes have already been planted. The choice of these colors is explained by the climatic conditions that are comfortable for them.
The institution also plans to plant about 2,000 chrysanthemums in city flower beds. With the onset of favorable weather conditions, this work is carried out in large quantities. The next stage is bulbous plants that will decorate Simferopol in the spring.
