Government expands support for Crimean farmers

Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova, said that the agrarians of the Crimea are increasing the volume of agricultural production to ensure the food independence of the region. One of the reasons for this growth is the support of the Government of the Russian Federation and regional authorities.
In 2022, within the framework of the “compensating” subsidy, the Ministry provides support for potato producers in the amount of 12, 5 million rubles and vegetables for 30 million rubles. As part of the “stimulating” subsidy, 3.7 million rubles will be paid to increase the production of vegetables in open ground, and 12 million rubles to producers of protected ground vegetables, — said Head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture.
According to her, due to favorable climatic conditions, good condition of winter crops, as well as timely implementation of agro-technological work, it is planned to obtain at least 1 500 thousand tons of grain and legumes.
