Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko held a working meeting where they discussed the development of science, digitalization and tourism.

The meeting took place at Sevastopol State University. Mikhail Razvozhaev and Dmitry Chernyshenko visited the laboratory building of the Institute for Advanced Research. The only scientific school in the field of biophysics in Crimea operates here. Sevastopol State University is the flagship of higher education and the main scientific center of our city. During the working trip, the head of the city showed the vice-premier the multifunctional tourist complex «Api-Balaklava», built within the framework of the national project «Tourism and Hospitality Industry», and spoke about the implementation of priority investment projects «Development of Balaklava» and «Development of eco-tourism and active route recreation «Great Sevastopol Trail».

The governor noted that during the year three sports and health centers were opened in Sevastopol.

This year we completed the construction of the water sports palace and the reconstruction of the sports complex named after the 200th anniversary of Sevastopol. In addition, according to the program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, we built three sports and recreation complexes: in Verkhnesadovoy, in Kach and in Inkerman, the last of them with a swimming pool. Last year we opened a sports and recreation center on Taras Shevchenko Street. A large facility for a boxing school is currently being built in the city.
