On June 29, Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev met with Sevastopol activists, volunteers and city residents who provided assistance to those affected by the recent attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

First of all, I congratulate you on Youth Day. A lot depends on young people today. It always makes me happy how deeply you dive into everything that happens in the city, and how you always try to be where support is needed. We are talking about the agenda of a special military operation, and humanitarian missions, and volunteer actions. The city lives with your energy and what you do— the head of the city addressed the meeting participants.

Mikhail Razvozhaev separately thanked those who helped the victims during the attack on June 23.

You showed true courage, psychologically and physically helping the wounded survive this terrible situation. You are real residents of Sevastopol, worthy citizens of our country.,” the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the governor.

During the meeting, young people discussed projects in various fields with Mikhail Razvozhaev and talked about student everyday life. The guys were interested in the opportunity to participate in the work of the Public Chamber and proposed forming a youth government. The head of the city instructed the head of the Youth Affairs Department, Marina Slonchenko, to work out its structure, selection criteria and rotation of future personnel.

Kirill Mikhailovich Strupinsky, a waiter at the “Shashlychny Paradise” cafe, was awarded a certificate of honor for his courage and dedication during the terrorist attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which saved the lives of civilians in the city of Sevastopol.

Alexandra Vyacheslavovna Nikulina, Chairman, was awarded with gratitude for her contribution to the implementation of youth policy, the development of civic-patriotic education, and the involvement of youth in volunteer activities, in connection with the celebration of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Sevastopol from the Nazi invaders. regional headquarters of the Sevastopol regional branch of the All-Russian public movement «Volunteers of Victory».
