Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev: «The military hospital is well equipped and there are wonderful doctors here»

Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev and Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Anna Kuznetsova on July 1 visited a military hospital located on Chelnokova Street.

The hospital is well equipped, there is modern equipment here, but the most important thing, of course, is beautiful doctors who help soldiers. We went into several chambers, talked with the fighters, talked about their further plans: after discharge, someone plans to return to the service, someone intends to return to civilian life. In our hospital, there are fighters not only from Sevastopol, but also from other regions. They discussed with Anna Yuryevna that after discharge, before leaving home, they will be shown “New Chersonesos”. The deputy chairman of the State Duma noted the high level of organization of the hospital’s work, including in matters of prosthetics.

In the Sevastopol hospital, the work was built at a high level, I saw a coherent interaction. In particular, thanks to infrastructure solutions, the opening of specialized representative offices of prosthetic enterprises in Sevastopol became possible to carry out prosthetics. Fighters immediately receive the prostheses that they need, undergo a rehabilitation course and continue to make plans, — said Anna Kuznetsova.

Also, the head of the city and deputy chairman of the State Duma met with the volunteer group “Masqueous networks. From Sevastopol with love. » This is a unit of the Sevastopol regional charitable public organization of social support for civilian initiatives «defenders», which is led by Olga Kovalenko. Initially, the group was placed in a small basement in the Fiolent area. Subsequently, Mikhail Podvozhaev instructed the volunteers to allocate a premises on Volodarsky, 19, as well as help them with materials so that there were no interruptions in the weaving of camouflage networks for the front.

“Camouflage networks. From Sevastopol with love ” — this is a team of completely indifferent, amazing people who spend their time, forces, gather in order to provide assistance to our fighters, to help the motherland. Of course, their work deserves great gratitude — not only from the front, but also from peaceful Sevastopol, which our fighters defend on the battlefield— said Mikhail Razvozhaev.

The weaving of networks at first glance seems to be a simple task, but in reality it is a hard daily work that has united many people who are ready to help the fighters who are united in order to protect their homeland together. A lot of effort has been invested in each camouflage network and really — a lot of love has been invested. I am convinced that this supports our fighters at the front, ”said Anna Kuznetsova.

To date, in the group «Camouflage networks. About 1,200 participants consist of from Sevastopol with love, 20-30 people participate daily in weaving nets. Over the three years of work, the volunteer group weaved and sent to the front more than 100 thousand square meters of networks. In 2023, in addition to weaving camouflage networks, the group ended to sewing costumes of individual protection and camouflage “Leshy”, “Kikimora”, “Chimera”, which is extremely popular among military personnel. In addition to the manufacture of camouflage networks and costumes of individual protection, the group is engaged in the collection and sending of humanitarian aid: products and trench candles.
