Grading of country roads in Crimea: “it was smooth on paper”
CrimeaPRESS reports:
According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, over the past week alone he received 2,234 requests on social networks regarding the issues of grading dirt roads and carrying out pothole repairs. The leaders in Crimea in terms of complaints are the city of Simferopol, Simferopol, Bakhchisarai, Saki, and Black Sea districts.
Unfortunately, the work on road certification has not been completed in a number of municipalities, and where it has been done “on paper,” it is not supported by real actions. This suggests that responsible officials do not personally delve into the situation and do not go to the field. Monitoring the condition of the asphalt surface must be constant. Roads must be fully passable. As soon as weather conditions permit, it is necessary to go out for pothole repair work. All plans for road grading and pothole repairs must be published on the websites of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Crimea and municipalities— the Head of Crimea said today.
