«Grads» and «Hurricanes» fired at the Crimean Opuk training ground

Crews of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) «Hurricane» and «Grad» of the army corps of the Southern Military District, stationed in the Crimea, conducted live firing at the Opuk interspecific range. According to the press service of the Southern Military District, the firing was carried out at targets that imitated the artillery of a mock enemy at a distance of more than 30 km, which ensured safe removal in case of retaliation.

During live firing, the gunners also hit single and group targets, command posts of a mock enemy. The defeat of targets had to be carried out as quickly as possible and with the least consumption of ammunition, using single and massive methods of firing. Practical firing of rocket artillery crews was carried out as part of the planned field exit of the units of the missile forces and artillery of the army corps of the Southern Military District.
