Graduation ceremony of «Teatralnaya Street» took place in Sevastopol. Season closed

On October 1, Sevastopol hosted the official closing of the season of Teatralnaya Street, a project implemented by the ANO Center for the Formation of Civic Culture with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. Graduation brought together under a large white dome in Anna Akhmatova Park more than 10 people. Among them are residents who throughout the year have been implementing their projects with the support of Teatralnaya Street, partners, artists and guests.
As noted by the project manager Valery Alexandrin, during the year more than 30 events attended 600 human. Support was received by 154 residents, including seven theater groups from all over Crimea , more than performances were shown. Also, with the assistance of the Teatralnaya Street team, such large-scale events as the Inspiration festival, the Present Future exhibition, the Day of Entrepreneurs of Russia, which was organized jointly with the My Business Center, White Evenings, exhibitions of artists and photographers, musical evenings.
The St. Petersburg Theater Seasons festival became a bright final chord: online broadcasts of performances, which, among other things, were organized on the resources of Teatralnaya Street, were collected 35 thousand views. In addition, every week during the summer season, the dome in the Anna Akhmatova Park turned into a site for the governor’s project «Summer Sevastopol».
In addition to summing up the results of the season, Sevastopol poet and artist Tikhon Sinitsyn, artists of the first professional street theater in Sevastopol «Soft Sign» Yevgeny Pavlov, Valeria Golovkina and Maria Ostryanskaya and musicians performed at the graduation ceremony of Teatralnaya Street. Also, the head Valery Alexandrin announced the results of the online voting — in the social networks of Teatralnaya Street, subscribers chose the brightest projects of the year. The first place was taken by the MODUS OPERANDI Art Studio headed by Tatyana Klimenko, whose artists showed three performances on the stage of the dome a week earlier, the second was Alexander Mikhailenko with the White Evenings project, and the third was the director of the Sevastopol Academic Russian Drama Theater and at the same time, Natalya Slepchenko, the head of the Theater Kitchen project, who presented the performance “Checkmark”. The Audience Choice Award was given to children’s performances by the Attic Media Studio directed by Tatiana Pavlenko.
Despite the official end of the season, Teatralnaya Street will continue its work as a resource center. Each creator can still get support and assistance in realizing the idea of their own project.
