Greening of Simferopol — the city will be decorated with thousands of seedlings and flowers

Employees of the Municipal Budgetary Institution «Gorzelenkhoz» began landscaping Simferopol. The work is being carried out ahead of the spring holidays. The head of the administration of the Crimean capital, Mikhail Afanasyev, spoke about this.

According to him, the central streets, flower beds and monuments of Simferopol will be decorated with flowers in the spring; it is planned to install flowerpots with violas and plant more than eight thousand rose bushes.

In addition, we plan to carry out compensatory planting of 2,500 trees. Work on planting green spaces is being carried out throughout the city. The artistic composition and style in which the work will be performed will be a pleasant surprise for residents and guests of our city. I think that the chosen design solution will please everyoneemphasized Mikhail Afanasyev.

Work on planting flowers on the central streets of the city began with the onset of favorable weather.

Now we are in full swing preparing for the festive events, which will start at the beginning of March and are associated with the 10th anniversary of the Crimean Spring. And we are actively planting our spring violas in flower pots — they will appear by March 15 and will delight residents and guests of the city. We are also already actively planting roses in urban areas, currently on Pobedy Avenue,” noted Deputy Director of the Municipal Budgetary Institution “Gorzelenkhoz” Maria Boronenkova.

Particular attention will be paid to public areas, parks, and public gardens. They will be decorated with about 12 thousand spring flowers, about 124 thousand summer flowers, 40 thousand bulbous plants, 2 thousand garden roses.

Very soon the streets of the city will be transformed— Gorzelenkhoz specialists promise.
