Gurzuf, A. S. Pushkin Museum. Construction continues

Minister of Culture of the Republic of Crimea Tatyana Manezhina, as part of a working trip to Gurzuf, visited the A. S. Pushkin Museum, where repair, restoration and re-exposition work continues. About the deadlines and importance of the object — HERE.
Together with the heads of institutions and representatives of the contracting organization, the minister held an off-site meeting and checked the progress of measures to preserve the federal cultural heritage site “The House Where A.S. Pushkin Lived.” Today, painting work continues on the façade and interiors, installation of doors and stairs, landscaping of the museum grounds, laying of paving stones, installation of multimedia and electrical appliancesreports the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
It is emphasized that due to the fact that the contractor FAU «RosKapStroy» delayed the work schedule at the site, instructions were given to apply penalties in the form of accrual of penalties for each day of delay in fulfilling the obligation stipulated by the state contract.
In addition, additional instructions were given to strengthen control over the delivery time of ordered materials and equipment to prevent delays in the work process, eliminate identified violations, increase the pace of work and the number of workers at the site.
At the same time, activities are underway to re-expose the exhibition space of the republican museum. An artistic concept for the exhibition has been created, as well as a historically accurate costume for the Duke of Richelieu has been made; the project for the artistic design of the main exhibition and the acquisition of authentic items of the 18th-19th centuries continues. for the museum’s stock collection,” noted the Ministry of Culture of Crimea.
