Half a million citizens received (will receive) compensation for the “November storm” in Crimea
CrimeaPRESS reports:
More than 503 thousand citizens submitted applications for one-time financial assistance in the amount of 10 thousand rubles. These are the Crimeans who, as a result of the raging disaster (“November storm”), had no power supply for more than a day in a row. Work in this direction continues in the Saki, Simferopol, Bakhchisarai and Belogorsk districts, as well as in the Kamensky massif of the city of Simferopol. As the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov reported, to date this type of payment has been provided to more than 329.6 thousand Crimeans for a total amount of 3 billion 330 million rubles.
Financial assistance in the amount of 50 thousand rubles was assigned to 293 citizens, 100 thousand rubles — to 204 citizens, and 34.2 million rubles have been paid to date. At the same time, those who could not confirm the fact of residence in the affected household or had not previously registered ownership were denied payment. However, citizens have the opportunity to contact the judiciary to appeal the refusal,” Aksyonov noted.
According to him, all procedures for compensation payments must be completed in the near future. Controversial issues must be finally resolved by the end of the week.
