The lights of this bright holiday are a symbol of hope, the victory of light over darkness and a reminder of the miracle that happened in the Jerusalem Temple when the temple lamp burned for eight days instead of one — until new, pure oil was prepared.

Hanukkah reminds us of the eternal truths and spiritual connections between generations, which are important at all times and for all peoples, on which the happy future of descendants is based.

Today, the residents of our multinational Motherland are united by common goals, a common history and destiny, a common desire to preserve traditional spiritual and moral values! We see all this in our native Simferopol, which has become a striking example of the consolidation of our society, ethno-confessional peace and mutual respect!
