Harvest of greenhouse cucumbers started in Crimea

The collection of greenhouse cucumbers has started in Crimea. This was announced by the Acting Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Alime Zaredinova.
The first 45 tons of cucumbers were harvested by the farmers of Krymteplitsa LLC and Don Agro LLC of the Simferopol region. Last year, 14 thousand tons of cucumbers were harvested in the republic; ), she noted.
According to the Acting Minister, 1,000 tons of tomatoes have also been harvested in Crimean greenhouses since the beginning of this year.
Alime Zaredinova focused on the fact that all spring field work in the republic is carried out as usual. In particular, it is planned to sow early spring grain crops on the area 78, 8 thousand hectares.
Today, spring sowing has been carried out on an area of thousand hectares, which is 14% from the total cultivated area. 52% of winter crops are in good and satisfactory condition. Active work is also underway to feed winter crops. Fertilizers were applied on the area 208, 8 thousand hectares, which is 52% of the total area , said Alime Zaredinova.
During the period of seasonal field work, Crimean agricultural producers are provided with fuel and lubricants in full.
