He admitted, repented, but he will have to answer. Court verdict to a resident of Bakhchisarai who robbed a recording studio

A local resident was convicted for several episodes of theft of property, including musical instruments from a recording studio. One of the victims was Dmitry Gerasimov, a well-known singer and musician in Crimea and beyond. The Bakhchisarai District Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced the perpetrator to 3 years in prison with serving the sentence in a correctional colony of general regime.
The materials of the criminal case established that in mid-April of this year, a previously convicted resident of the city of Bakhchisaray, born in 2004, at about 4 o’clock in the morning made his way to the recording studio of a local musician and committed theft. Acoustic wired headphones, one electric guitar, two acoustic guitars, a system unit and other recording equipment became the prey of the attacker. The man took out the stolen property in several visits and subsequently disposed of it at his own discretion. The victim suffered damage totaling 296,000 rubles. Two weeks later, the man again committed theft. This time, at about 2 am, the defendant entered the premises of the household of one of the residents of the city of Bakhchisarai, from where he secretly stole a tablet computer, a portable speaker, a personal computer system unit, a musical amplifier and a mobile phone. In total, the criminal stole property for a total amount of 34,500 rubles, which caused significant material damage to the victim— noted in the press service of the court.
At the hearing, the defendant agreed with the accusation, fully admitted his guilt and repented of his deed.
The court concluded that the defendant was guilty and that his actions were qualified according to paragraphs “a, c”, part 3 of Art. 158 and p. «a» part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — theft, that is, the secret theft of someone else’s property, committed with illegal entry into a dwelling, on a large scale.
The civil suit declared by the musician is fully satisfied. The other victim of the civil suit did not want to file.
The verdict has not entered into force.
