The Feodosia prosecutor’s office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case against a previously convicted 29-year-old resident of the Kirovsky district. The court found him guilty under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (intentional infliction of grievous harm to health, dangerous to human life, resulting in the death of the victim through negligence).

It was established that on the night of July 6, 2023, quarrels occurred between the attacker and his acquaintance while drinking alcoholic beverages at the Svyazist SEC. During the conflict, the convict, while intoxicated, dealt at least 4 blows with his fist to the opponent’s head; the latter died from the injuries received.— reported the prosecutor’s office.

The court agreed with the position of the prosecutor and sentenced the man to 7 years in prison to serve the sentence in a maximum security correctional colony. The verdict did not enter into legal force.
