It was established that, by order of the city institution, in order to create green spaces on a flowerbed along the road in the Gagarinsky district, 4 junipers and 2 seedlings of the Eastern thuja were landed with a total value of more than 9 thousand rubles. Passing by a car, a 40-year-old local resident noticed young trees and decided to take them to himself so as not to spend money on buying new ones. Having parked nearby, the man simply dug up seedlings from the city flowerbed, loaded them into the trunk of his car and drove them out at the place of residence, where he landed in front of the house,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Sevastopol.

Having discovered the absence of seedlings, a 43-year-old individual entrepreneur, who complied with an order for a city institution, turned to the police for help.

Employees of the Patrol and Poster Service of the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Gagarinsky district of the trees were installed and detained, and the stolen property was returned to the owner. The department of inquiry against the detainee opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to two years.
