The prosecutor’s office of the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 71-year-old resident of St. Petersburg.
He is charged under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). It was established that the man came to Sevastopol in July 2023 to visit his childhood friend, who during the summer lived at the dacha in SNT “Parus”. At night, while drinking alcohol, a quarrel occurred between friends, during which the guest inflicted numerous blows to the owner of the dacha with his feet, hands and a knife and crushed his neck with the end partition of a wooden bench. An elderly man died at the scene of the crime from his injuries.,” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
The attacker was detained and taken into custody. The investigation into the criminal case was carried out by the investigative department for the Gagarinsky district of Sevastopol of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The district prosecutor’s office sent the criminal case to the Gagarinsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits.
