The Razdolnensky inter -district investigative department and the court established that on the night of August 11, 1997, a man was traveling by car from the village of Black Sea to the village of Mezhdovodnoye, where he met the girl unfamiliar to him and offered to the bus station. In the area of ​​the Black Sea Canal, the attacker attacked the passenger, having committed a violent crime with her. Fearing that the girl will report to law enforcement agencies, he strangled her in the car. After making sure that the victim does not show signs of life, the man tied her body to a fragment of a concrete pillar with a metal wire and dropped into the water, where it was found after a while by local residents-voiced the details of the murder in the press service of the department.

Investigators and forensic investigators of the Main Directorate of the IC of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol together with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs as part of systematic work on the disclosure and investigation of crimes of past years established all the circumstances of the commission of a particularly serious crime.

At the time of disclosure, the man was already convicted by the Moscow Regional Court in November 2023 for committing similar crimes and served his sentence in the form of life imprisonment in the correctional colony of the Black Dolphin special regime.

The defendant admitted his guilt in the murder, describing in detail and demonstrating how he committed a crime.

According to the aggregate of sentences, the court is sentenced to life imprisonment.
