An 81-year-old resident of one of the villages turned to the police of the Krasnoperekopsky district with a statement about the theft of a large amount of money from her household.
In the course of operational-search activities, the police identified and detained a suspect in the crime — a 30-year-old fellow villager of the applicant, who confessed to the crime. According to the suspect, in order to solve his financial problems, he decided to borrow money from a pensioner. Arriving at her home, the attacker found that she was not at home, after which he had the intent to get inside the home. Once in the bedroom, he saw a bundle with cash in the amount of 140 thousand rubles on the sofa and decided to pick it up. The suspect fled the scene of the crime, spending the stolen money on his own needs.— told the details in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Republic of Crimea.
The investigator of the investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia «Krasnoperekopsky» initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Theft committed with illegal entry into a dwelling”). The sanction of the article provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to 6 years.
