A 33-year-old local resident applied to the police department of Simferopol with a statement about a robbery committed against him. The victim explained that an unfamiliar man took money from him in the amount of 15 thousand rubles.
The police found that at night, on one of the streets of Simferopol, the applicant had a conflict with an unfamiliar man, during which the latter, using force, took away the available funds from the victim and disappeared. Employees of the criminal investigation department of OP No. 2 «Kievskiy» of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Simferopol carried out a number of operational-search measures aimed at identifying and detaining the persons involved. The suspect was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning. 25-year-old Simferopol resident confessed to law enforcement officers and wrote a confession— announced the details of the case in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in Crimea.
The investigator of the OP No. 2 «Kievskiy» of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Simferopol initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery, that is, open theft of another’s property, with the use of violence that is not dangerous to life or health, or with the threat of such violence).
The attacker faces up to seven years in prison, he was also chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention.
