The prosecutor’s office of the Leninsky district of Sevastopol approved an indictment in a criminal case against a 43-year-old resident of the Tambov region. He is charged under Part 3 of Art. 30 – part 1 art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder).
According to investigators, in August 2023, a man, while intoxicated on General Ostryakov Avenue at night, came into conflict with a 36-year-old Sevastopol resident, who reprimanded him and left a short time later. Feeling offended, the attacker found him near a nearby residential building and made repeated attempts to stab him in the head with a folding knife. The victim dodged the blows, but was wounded in the neck. People nearby stopped the attacker and then handed him over to the police.,” reported the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.
Thanks to timely medical assistance, the victim survived.
The investigation was carried out by the investigative department for the Leninsky district of the city of Sevastopol of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
The district prosecutor’s office sent the criminal case to the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration on the merits.
