Head of Crimea: “A teacher is not a profession, but a calling, a high and responsible mission”

Today we remember with gratitude our teachers, who did so much for us, helped us acquire knowledge, and gave us a start in life. Probably, in the life of each of us there is a Teacher with a capital T. No wonder they say that this is not a profession, but a calling, a high and responsible missionsaid the Head of Crimea.
Sergei Aksyonov emphasized that increasing the prestige of teaching work is a task no less urgent than modernizing the education system, building and reconstructing schools. The head of the republic assured that the authorities will continue to work in this direction.
During the event, Sergei Aksyonov presented Crimean teachers with well-deserved awards: the medal “For Distinction in Labor”, Gratitude from the Head of the Republic of Crimea, Distinctive insignia “Watch from the Head of the Republic of Crimea”, Certificates of Honor from the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, as well as certificates for receiving monetary rewards to the winners of the competition to award awards to the best teachers for achievements in teaching in 2024.
Also addressing those present was the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, who congratulated the Crimean teachers and presented awards and prizes of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.
The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea — Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Crimea Elena Romanovskaya, Minister of Education, Science and Youth of the Republic of Crimea Valentina Lavrik, and others.
