Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov: «Today, an objective analysis of the past is important»

Sergey Aksyonov and participants in the event examined the exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the 1945 Yalta Conference, located in the Livadia Palace.

In a welcoming speech, Sergei Aksyonov noted that today it is especially important to preserve historical truth. An objective and thoughtful analysis of the past is important, which makes it possible to better understand the present and predict the future.

Scientists, politicians, public figures should confront the stream of lies and slander, which overwhelms the information space. This is our contribution to the general victory, to the defeat of the enemy, — said the head of Crimea.

Sergei Aksyonov focused on the symbolism of the fact that the presentation of the book takes place in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in Livadia, where the fate of the world decided 80 years ago and the foundations of the new system of international relations were laid.

Now our opponents are doing everything to finally destroy the Yalta-Potsdam system, which for decades has retained the world from a great war. Unfortunately, in the world there are forces, the purpose of which is to dismember and destroy our country. Only consolidation around our leader Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and the support of our defenders can ensure the safety of citizens and the future of Russia. Nowadays, the fate of our Motherland, the fate of a new, more fair world order, which, is sure, will be created according to the results of our victory, in our zone. Only the strong create and write history. So it was 80 years ago in Yalta, so it will be today— emphasizes the head of the republic.
