In the next 1-2 hours and until the end of the day on July 4, heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail, and squally winds of 17-22 m/s are expected in Crimea.
In these conditions, there is a high probability of emergency situations related to accidents at energy facilities, housing and communal services, an increase in the number of road accidents, disruptions to transport communications, difficulties in the movement of motor vehicles on highways, long descents and ascents, dangerous turns and mountain passes. Flooding of territories is possiblethe emergency department said in a statement.
It is specified that in such conditions there is a threat to the life and health of the population due to the possible fall of advertising billboards, poorly reinforced structures, trees and possible breaks in power lines.
There is also a risk of incidents in the waters of the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait. The presence of people in the coastal zone, on piers and coastal protection structures is life-threatening.
