The Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Simferopol City Administration provides social support measures to city residents. The head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Diana Feratova, spoke about this in more detail.
Social support measures are provided based on a citizen’s application, which can be submitted in any convenient way. In particular, an application for a measure of social support can be submitted either in person, directly to the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Simferopol City Administration, or the application can be submitted at the MFC branch, or using the government services portal.
To date, the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population continues to provide social support measures to large families. In particular, this is a 50% discount on housing and utilities, as well as preferential travel for children from large families on public transport.,” the press service of the Simferopol administration quotes Diana Feratova.
In addition, the provision of social support measures to low-income families continues, in particular, state social assistance in the form of social benefits, as well as state social assistance on the basis of a social contract. The provision of payments that were assigned until December 31, 2022 to families with three or more children, the implementation of which is provided until the child reaches the age of three years, also continues.
Subsidies are also provided for housing and utilities. In addition, the Department of Labor and Social Protection provides preferential categories of citizens, of which there are more than 35 today, a discount on payment for housing and utilities (the amount of the discount varies depending on the preferential category), as well as preferential travel on public transport within the Republic of Crimea.
From January 1, 2025, the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has been entrusted with the authority to issue citizens of preferential categories certificates of the right to social support measures for travel on public transport. Citizens are received daily from Monday to Friday.
