The Gosuslugi portal now has an option to apply for free land plots under the Far Eastern and Arctic hectare program, reports Ministry of Digital Development of Russia.
This service can be used by citizens of Russia, foreigners and stateless persons, subject to their participation in the voluntary resettlement program. Participants can receive a land plot in ownership, gratuitous use or lease, and also have the opportunity to change its boundaries, refuse to lease or choose the type of use of the site. The site can be used for various purposes, such as building a house, summer cottages, creating a tourist facility, farming, entrepreneurial activity and other permitted activities.explains Arguments and Facts.
However, it is important to note that in order to obtain ownership of the land, you must first take it for free use. An application for obtaining a plot of land in the property can be submitted after 4.5 years of gratuitous use. Also, after 4.5 years, the site can be leased for 49 years and subsequently issued as a property at any time.
