The program under the program is 6% per annum. You can buy secondary housing for family mortgages in cities where no more than two apartment buildings are being built. According to the program, you can buy an apartment in a house not older than 20 years. This option can be used by families with children under 6 years of age.

In the future, a family mortgage can be extended to other cities, not excluded by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. The authorities will evaluate the effectiveness and demand for the program and consider the possibility of scaling it.

The expansion of a family mortgage on the secondary can lead to the fact that in municipalities, where there are almost no new buildings, the construction of new housing will completely stop, the president of the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY) Anton Glushkov warned.

The pace of withdrawal of apartment buildings may slow down, the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities, Sergei Pakhomov, agrees. At the same time, he emphasized that families who are ready to purchase housing in their city need to give such an opportunity.
