Since the beginning of July, 209 times, employees of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Fire Protection of the Republic of Crimea» were called in to extinguish dry vegetation fires. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea. In the past 24 hours alone, firefighters went out 6 times to extinguish such «landscape» fires in Crimea.
The personnel of the fire unit of the village of Krasnogvardeyskoye twice extinguished fires in open areas in the Sovetsky district. The areas were 400 and 200 sq. m. The duty crew of the fire unit of the urban-type settlement of Bagerovo went to extinguish a fire of dry grass in the Leninsky district on an area of 490 sq. m. In the urban-type settlement of Feodosia, the personnel of the fire unit of the urban-type settlement of Primorsky extinguished a fire of dry vegetation on an area of 250 sq. m. The firefighters also extinguished fires in open areas in the Nizhnegorsky and Dzhankoysky districts.— the emergency department listed.
