More than 30 thousand large families received free land for individual housing construction (IHC) with the assistance of the development institute DOM.RF, according to the website of the Russian government.

Thus, through the development institute, since 2012 in 41 regions, more than 30 thousand such (large families — IF) families have received land free of charge for the construction of private houses. The total area of ​​the transferred plots amounted to 11.4 thousand hectares, — the message quotes the words of Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

As specified, more than 200 thousand square meters of housing have already been built on these sites.

The top five subjects of the Russian Federation that most actively provide land plots include the Tyumen (3.5 thousand) and Rostov (more than 3 thousand) regions, the Republic of Khakassia (about 2.9 thousand) and Tatarstan (2.1 thousand), as well as the Krasnodar Territory (more than 2 thousand).

Free transfer of land ownership is provided for families with three or more children. The powers to manage and dispose of such areas, with the assistance of the state company, have been transferred by the relevant government commission to the regions.

In 2023, 963 plots were created (1.5 times more than in 2022), families were provided with 760 plots, and 2,830 plots were provided with infrastructure facilities.
