On July 15-16, Evpatoria will celebrate its traditional mid-summer holiday: Holiday Visitor Day. Sports entertainment, theatrical performance, master classes, a concert, free admission to museums and a competition, the winner of which will receive a ticket for two to rest next season, are waiting for guests.
According to Tourist portal of Crimea, the celebration of the Day of the spa visitor «On the equator of the Evpatorian summer» will last two days. The main events are scheduled for July 15th.
Saturday, July 15:
At 9:00 a.m., a prayer service will be held in the Cathedral of St. Nicholas for a prosperous holiday season and the health of vacationers in Evpatoria.
At the same time, on the Gorky embankment, on the site near the monument to Hercules, active tourists and healthy lifestyle fans will be able to take part in mass morning exercises, which will smoothly turn into a race from the monument to Hercules to Gorky Park.
A bright spectacle is expected at 11:00 am on the beach near Hercules (Frunze Park): holidaymakers will show their leadership qualities in a mass swim on inflatable swimming facilities.
From 13:00 to 15:00, residents and guests of the city have the opportunity to visit the Tekiye Dervishes complex, which is part of the popular Little Jerusalem tour route, for free. Spectators will also be able to enjoy the performance of an exemplary theater of living statues.
A rich and interesting program is planned for the evening on Karaimskaya Street. At 18:00, on the main stage near the Merchants’ Synagogue, the competition program for the title of «Best Resort Visitor of the Year» will begin: the winner will receive a ticket for two, which they can use in the 2024 season.
From 18:00 to 20:00, children and adults will be able to take part in master classes from the masters of the Raduga art studio and the craft studio.
After that, the awards ceremony for the winners of the Day of the resort visitor «On the equator of the Evpatorian summer» will take place, and at 20:30 the invited cover group «Galaktika» will perform in front of the audience.
Sunday, July 16:
At 10:00, residents and guests of the city will also be able to visit the Evpatoria Museum of Local Lore (Duvanovskaya St., 11) and the Museum of the History of the Crimean War (Revolution St., 61) for free.
