How in Sevastopol policeman Father Frost and Snow Maiden congratulated the townspeople on the upcoming holiday

In Sevastopol, policeman Father Frost and Snegurochka on horseback came to congratulate all citizens on the upcoming New Year.

The pre-New Year’s meeting of the main New Year’s heroes, in whose roles were employees of the cavalry platoon of the PPSP named after Vasily Buzin, with the residents of Sevastopol took place on Saturday on Nakhimov Square.

As part of the All-Russian action «Police Father Frost», Father Frost arrived at the main city spruce with an important mission with his two assistants — his granddaughter Snegurochka and the representative of the Public Council under the Ministry of Internal Affairs Elena Semyonova. The unusual horsemen immediately aroused the genuine interest of everyone who was in the square — this was the first time fairy-tale heroes had come here on such exotic transport.

Policeman Santa Claus and his companions were immediately surrounded by children and, overcoming their shyness, began to recite New Year’s poems. According to good tradition, the fairytale grandfather took out sweet gifts from his magic bag, handed them to the children, and together with the Snow Maiden wished everyone a merry New Year and Christmas holidays— said the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.

While the children were keen on communicating with their favorite characters from Russian fairy tales, Elena Semyonova, a representative of the Public Council at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, conducted preventive conversations with their parents. The social activist reminded them about methods of countering remote scammers and handed them thematic leaflets.

The organizers of the unusual event made another gift for all guests and residents of the city — everyone was able to take a memorable photo with policeman Father Frost and Snegurochka, as well as get to know their wonderful horses — Dobrynya and Sheikh Timur.
